This comprehensive 2-day introductory course offers 16-hours of hands-on experience in foundational tactical lockpicking, along with introductions to vehicle entries, restraint escapes, and key generation. This course is offered twice a year, in mid-March and mid-September, at TEES. Enrollment is available exclusively through the TEES website. Certification Course: Level 1

This 3-day course combines our 2-day foundational course along with an additional advanced day for drills, scenario-based training, and a pass/fail certification test.​​

This intensive 5-day course is designed to fully equip each participant with the skills and tools needed to immediately integrate NDE into their operations. Over the first two days, students will complete 16 hours of tactical lockpicking training. Day 3 focuses on key generation and safe cracking techniques, while Day 4 covers restraint escapes and vehicle entries. Throughout Days 2 to 4, participants will engage in realistic miniature nighttime operations. On Day 5, students will undergo a pass/fail operational test to evaluate their readiness and proficiency.​​​
Certification Course: Level 3

This advanced 5-day course offers four days of immersive, high-stakes operations, featuring unpredictable times, locations, and objectives. The final day is dedicated to pass/fail operational testing, ensuring participants are fully prepared for real-world challenges.

*Before acceptance into this course, students must complete Level 2 certification to ensure they are adequately prepared for the challenges presented in this advanced course.
NDE Program Design & Mentorship

Timeframe: 5-days & year round mentoring.

Inclusions: 5 days of on-site academic instruction, certification, catering, and foundational textbooks. Year round mentorship: guidance on program creation, quality control, data collection measures, and virtual support meetings are available upon request as schedule permits.​

This custom 5-day course provides in-depth academic training in ​gear and loadout optimization, operational planning and strategy development, evaluating and selecting entry options, team operations and coaching, as well as pushing the limits of operator performance through customized high-stakes scenarios focused on the operator's existing strengths and weaknesses.
​
Additionally, mentorship training (train the trainer) is included, enabling your primary NDE specialist to train others within your department. To maintain certification, the trainer must recertify every 2 years to stay current with ODE's latest standards, methods, tools, and techniques. Mentees are required to co-teach one Level 2 course with ODE for re-certification purposes. Certification will be revoked if the trainer fails to meet required standards.
